LINK Conscientious Consumption

This is depressing. The National Ungerground Railroad Freedom Center museum said that demand for cane sugar was significant in the growth of the African slave trade. It is sad to see it and other vices such as tobacco and coffee are still the cause of suffering. I have made some effort to buy fair trade throughout my life. This State Department list has renewed that interest. It gets overwhelming trying to figure out what to support and what to not.

Support things grown or made locally as much as possible !
Consume as lil as possible !
Every tax $ given to an evil govt or an evil producer is a conspiratorial act of violence against somebody somewhere or against the Earth itself !
