To hug or not to hug

Are you a hugger?

Do you feel comfortable giving/receiving hugs from strangers or people you aren't close to?

Why or why not?

I'm not a hugger, even with people I know and like. A stranger is going to have to make due with a handshake

I enjoy hugs, but I’m not very trustful of strangers.

No. Hugs are intimate and only for special trusted people

I love hugging but not necessarily hugging strangers lol

Not from strangers. Awkward - and out of place.

But if I know and like someone, it’s pretty natural.

Depends on the person and the situation, but mostly I'm ok with it. I'm from the south, so we tend to be a bit more open and friendly down here, but there are some situations where I would feel uncomfortable.

Smiles, hugs, all make a person feel good all over more than any where else

I’m a hugger, not to complete strangers but I also don’t have to be that familiar with people either. It really doesn’t bother me. It usually comes from within a sphere of people I know of but don’t know. Again, I’m in Texas it seems to the norm.
