It's one of the reasons that I stay away from politics as much as possible, IMHO there is more slander, and mud throwing than actually working things that are at hand atm.

I hope this isn't the new norm because it seems almost childish. A funeral is not the venue to spread a political message. It should be about the deceased.

Too late. We're all living in bizarro world now. Nothing is ever going to be the way it was before. Whether we like it or not.
@KKGator Yes, I have thought that the damage being done would be past the point of repair. Too many things have been allowed for anything to be able to return to normal.
