Is the future of humanity bionic?

Been seeing a lot of articles on this lately. Technologies are being developed to replace body parts with better, more reliable ones. Do you think this is something we could see become mainstream within our lifetime?

I suspect an organic alternative will always be preferred.

I think in the future implants, replacement organs, and limbs will be commonplace. Perhaps, they'll be affordable, too.
