Oil has gone up because we were flooding the market with oil out of Texas and New Mexico which drove it down. So OPEC decided to strongly increase the price of theirs to balance it out.

And since Venezuela is no longer accepting our currency for anything that means that they’re selling their oil under other currencies which actually weakens our currency because it’s strength is based upon the sales of oil under our currency.

Which is why when Saddam in 2000 declared that Iraq would no longer sell its oil under our dollar but the euro instead, same as Gaddafi with his dinar, and Syria and Iran and just look at our list of enemies and you’ll get it.
