Interesting to think that one of these is perhaps the oldest living thing on Earth, not a plant or fungi as previously thought. So there could be life in the ocean that has been around for 100's of millions of years. Proof that 'immortality' is acheivable by an animal in nature is a sure sign that we can extend the human species lifespan to at least hundreds of years (which is going to be necessary for the survival of the species IMO).
