Water on the Moon, (& a good Moon video)...
[space.com]
Book recommendation: " Colonies in Space " by T.A. Heppenheimer.
Old story. A fascinating codicil to this is in the 70s when Moon rocks and soil were brought back from the Moon, NASA did in fact detect miniscule amounts of water in them. Well, this was clearly "impossible," so it was written off as contamination during or after transport from the Moon. Even scientists can be blinded by their preconceptions.
For sure, but it tends to be self-correcting. Further study & peer review help ferret out the facts eventually.
@phxbillcee Wasn't knocking science, just pointing out they are human. Yes, the beauty of the scientific method is that it does eventually self-correct if left to its own devices. (IE politics/religion/ideology don't get involved.)
@Druvius Oh, so you mean somewhere other than the USA??!!?? LOL
