  3. Feel emotional everyday
  4. Don’t be an asshole
  5. Enjoy something everyday
  6. Smile even if shit is bad
  7. Connect with someone everyday
  8. Read for fun and enlightenment
  9. Be someone people use (in every way)
  10. Be alone everyday

Okay.
I'm not sure on #9

I interpret it to mean "Be reliable and helpful."

I think you can refine that down to just number 4.

I'd add: "Be compassionate to others."

And: "Celebrate learning new things."

I take issue with #4. I believe there are times when you need to be an asshole.

I don’t believe in love. I believe in connections that we call love. We miss people (even bad people) we crave connections for our own desires. The problem is if you want these connections we have to provide the things for others. I crave occasional hug. I need to use someone to provide that connection! If we are honest that is what we truly want someone to use. You want beauty, comedy, common connections. If someone doesn’t have these qualities you are not interested. If someone makes you laugh you watch them, or hang out with them because of what they give you! Be of use to others, especially the one you want to use!

Maybe I should amend the “being an asshole” to “be self aware of your asshole-ness”
