There is evidence that opioids are highly addictive since before the Greeks were fighting Persians .. so not a 'new' finding. Pushing opioids is as bad as pushing heroin ..... treat them like all drug dealers
The whole big pharma system is based on maximising profit and has bugger all to do with healthcare

Surely this says as much about the punters taking the drug as the drug companies and doctors.
Do they just blindly swallow everything the doctors give them?. Do they not question anything.?. I have not seen the leaflet which accompanies the drugs but I would hazard a guess that somewhere in the small print it would say that continued use could be addictive.
