Well at one time Christians used debate how many angels could dance on the head of a pin, in contrast that seems a slightly better use of time than his idiocy.

Or how about that time in the early Byzantine days, when the hot topic of debate was whether their fictitious deity was one entity or 3. The Arian sect got it wrong, and were exiled because of it. Tolerating dissent has never been one of the Christians’ strong points.
