LINK In the midst of a global pandemic, the Christian story of Easter shows us the power of hope | Rev William Barber and Dr Leah Hunt-Hendrix | Opinion | The Guardian

Here’s another very interesting and provocative article written by the religious discussing America’s attitude to the world under the control of the virus and Christianity’s alleged struggle against injustice. It links the icons of our time – Trump, MLK and Christ, with the tropes of redemption and justice for all.

Beautiful. The story is about a Christian Nation with god at the head....very loosely. It fails to mention that by doctrine God brought this down on us for no stated reason, thus any lesson we could learn from this great god is moot. Why would a god want us to suffer anyway. Suffering is not necessary for learning. In short their great god sucks and does not behave like a God at all.
