Facebook, here, mydisabilitymatters.com a game app called Best Fiends and Words with Friends 2 app but also play WWF via Facebook messenger. I have a Twitter but have no use for it. Had to open the account when in college. I have a Quora because someone here recommended it but have yet to get into it. Just doesn't pique my interest. I've heard of Reddit and Tumblr but the one time I tried to peruse Reddit, I became very overwhelmed and confused. I want to use a blog site to make a blog to help people better understand depression and mental illness but it's a double-edged sword. I want to talk about depression but my depression keeps me from talking. Mental Health caseworker wants me to use an app/website called MyStrengthNow but it's stupid.
Facebook...which has been sorely neglected since I discovered this site and Pinterest. I love Pinterest. I'd be embarrased over the amount of pins I have...but I just can't be.
Twitter, Facebook-with several Facebook groups, accuradio.com, agnostic.com, various science and news feed links.
Facebook because I run a support group for people who have had bariatric surgery. I also use Yelp a lot, I enjoy doing restaurant reviews.
Really? I had that surgery and was looking for support groups. Will you send me the link?
I originally got on Facebook 2 communicate for free with some of my friends. But I have enjoyed using it 2 meet folks from around the globe. I only recently found this site, and I use Google and occasionally my eldest son shows me something on YouTube. Oh and once I let my brother use my tablet and I guess he thought it would be nice 2 add me 2 something called zoosk, I think its a dating site
If you mean social media, then none, other than this. I've just started looking at Atheist Republic to check that out. One Google+ group on my favourite star I contribute to. I use YouTube a lot. Other than that, it's info, news, wiki sites, sites for my teaching work, and some commercial sites I keep an eye on. FB - never in a billion years. Twitter, got better things to do with my time. I'm not that wrapped in humanity that I need a lot of social media contact. This site shows that there's always an exception, even for me.
this is way better than republic . it's soooo cool to talk to likeminded people even if we don't agree on every point
@markdevenish yes, I see good content on AR but not a daily active community. This community here is unique.
Mostly YouTube. But I also use NationStates.net because I enjoy games about politics
Just this one. Oh, and Google on my phone. I look stuff up that I want to know, or words I don't know. I use the FB app every once in a while. I'm trying to stay off of my phone more now.
This site has played a large role in lowering my FB time. I removed FB from my phone and now scroll through here in it's place.
I only find myself getting on FB every few days now on my home computer, and even then it's usually for less than two minutes on those occasions.
So for that, thank you Agostic.com.
Other than that ... news sites, financial sites, Kiva, and (of course) porn sites.
I only found this site today, but I can easily see it replacing my time on Facebook
Kahn Academy. Facebook (mostly for business purposes though), Steam, Gmail, YouTube.
Friendly Atheist on Patheos, various news sites, facebook, youtube, and when the mood strikes, shopping sites. Oh, and quite a while ago, I frequented the rose forum on gardenweb.com. now that I have just bought my first house, (Yay!) I think I may be back to gardenweb soon.
