If the south ever seceeded again, I would welcome it.

@LetzGetReal It would greatly improve our politics by ridding us of most of the Repub party's base and leave us with all of our progressive states.

Depends on what one means by a civil war. The only thing we can safely predict about the future now ... it's gonna get worse before it gets better. Is Balkanization a possibility for the USA? Possibly. Inevitable? In the long run, sure. In the near future, no.

No civil war is needed and it’s best not to try and talk one up.

It's not inevitable. A metaphorical war. Political divide, it's here. Actual Civil War between the States? It will never happen.

Yes, and maybe when enough people reralizer that there will be a war on big business.
