LINK Fox Contributor: FDR’s New Deal Caused The Great Depression (Wrong)

What is sad is that the poorly educated Fox viewers will believe him.

For those not from the U.S., FDR became president in 1933 more than three years after the Great Depression started in 1929. The New Deal programs put people to work and helped build the infrastructure that allowed the U.S. to become the greatest economic power shortly after WWII. Without the New Deal programs building the infrastructure to build and ship supplies, the U.S. would not have fared as well in WWII.
