I have said for a very long time the plantation mentality never left the USA. From some small business owners all the way to the big corporations have always factored loses from workers into their profit projections. Very few seem to look at workers as an investment in their future profits. ALL this goes right back to an elitist attitude, a caste system, us vs them, demonize the other. Yeah, I know We the People but remember that was written by white god fearing male landowners. They have ALWAYS forced the belief on the little people that those with the money know how to make the best decisions. How's that working out for ya?
That the current administration has managed to put the worst of the worst with this plantation mentality into positions of power is mind numbing. Literally.
