An interesting thought

We keep having to redefine our model of the quantum universe as we learn more about it. In the midst of that discovery process I can't count the number of times I have heard "the laws of physics break down on a quantum level blah blah blah ...". So the search continues an answer that spans each level of existence.

But what if they don't break down on a quantum level? What if the true problem lies in the assumptions we are making to compare them to?

"Spooky action at a distance". Hmmm, we're assuming distance is reality. What if there is no such thing as distance? If distance doesn't exist then whatever law seemed to be violated wasn't molested at all. LIke, let's say distance is the z axis (depth) on an XYZ plane. That Z coordinate can be a rather distance unless Z doesn't even exist, Then it's damn short.

By that same token, if you only have an XY axis then a location may still be a distance traveled ... whereas if only one axis then there is no distance. It's all just a point.

But that dimensional microscope pulls BACK also. From the 4th dimensional perspective (one not bound by distance but still existing in one plane of time) XYZ are all one. The point is we impose the limitation by our level of perception. In this HUMAN form our limited perception means we impose time and distance filters to accommodate our perceptions. But the law itself is still universal ... just toned down for us.

Perception overall isn't bound by these limitations. They get imposed on it when it's forced to perceive through human lenses. namaste

You are right on the money Jeff. Our human-based concepts of space and time, concrete objects or things, location, motion, causality, and even existence itself have no meaning from the perspective of ultimate reality.

As Einstein said. space and time are modes of thought and have no physical existence. Even Newton said that lumps of matter are not “things”. Carlos Rovelli says that time does not exist.

There is experience, which seems real to our alleged selves, and that’s about all we really know.
