Great post and, like many here, I can agree to both sides of the equation. However, finding one that consistently went well really changes a person's outlook on this subject.
Absolutely, what is love does change over time and too often people become 'used' to being with another. It would be interesting to do a scan on one partner after the other has died. It is at this time one really understands appreciation of what one had.
