I think Trump has "bit-off" more than the US can "chew".
Especially with the Chinese going-after US companies' alleged infringement of Chinese US patents.

Retaliation by the Chinese for shutting down consulate in Houston. Supposedly it has to do with with intellectual property and scientific espionage. It started with Huawei. The timing is strange. Trump is throwing turds and hoping something sticks.
