It happens as emotional blackmail too, where the photos are never posted, but you know someone snuck photos without consent and threatens to post them. While I like the idea of the consent project, it doesn't really do anything against the problem, unless the purpose is to just create awareness - and give a feeling of power to the victim to put something out there in their own terms.

I do see some value to that, but there are still some guys that see the artful photos and see them as erotic and get their jollies while looking at them, so I'm not sure that method of coping with the problem is for everyone.

Anyone who partakes in revenge Porn should be banned FOR LIFE from all Social media. FB, Twitter, Linked in, gmail. Everything. Social Media needs to start being responsible about what it allows people to get away with

It's harassment pure and simple. I guess there's a lot of anger and people have too much time on there hands. It's a form of socially distant violence.
