President Trump has officially threatened our democracy. If he does this he will usurp the constitution. Even Abraham Lincoln during the Civil War had a hotly contested election. FDR during WWII had a strong opponent in Wendell Wilkie. He's already trying to defy SCOTUS. The Supreme Court will not allow this and if it's not 9-0 that would be shameful.

20th Amendment Article 1

The terms of the President and the Vice President shall end at noon on the 20th day of January, and the terms of Senators and Representatives at noon on the 3d day of January, of the years in which such terms would have ended if this article had not been ratified; and the terms of their successors shall then begin.
