Let me revise my earlier statement. Today’s Republican party is the party of 5 _”Ps” :
(1) persistent PREVARICATION (lying),
(2) PROOVICATION – attempting to appeal to peoples’ basest emotions,
(3) protecting unearned PRIVILEGE,
(4) acquiring and preserving personal and partisan POWER,
(5) PROFIT by any and all means possible – people and ethics be damned.
