Yes, but isn't this what people who watch the show, in their heart of hearts, are really hoping to see anyway? Someone faceplanting off the giant rubber cannonball into the oversize monkey bars and breaking their neck right there on television?

When did obstacle courses become a game show, anyway?

Lesson learned. Don't compete in extreme obstacle courses.

I don't think people want to see that no. NFL football is an example, fans like to see a hard hit, they don't enjoy watching someone being carted off the field. NASCAR and Formula One race fans like the excitement, they certainly don't like seeing a scary crash. All but the most warped person is relieved when then see driver safely climb out of the wreckage. This young man died. No some people may enjoy the show, only a sicko would be happy about this.
