Looks like the turtle is gonna hold a grudge against cheeto-man for losing the senate. Chances of conviction might actually be worth betting on, especially considering the ability to keep Trump from ever holding office again if convicted.
The man lost the popular vote twice and will lose it again if he gets the nod in 24, and the GOP knows it. There are a lot of good reasons for the GOP to keep Trump out of politics for as long as possible.

One thing the repubs hate (even above a loser) is disloyalty, and Trump just turned his back on the gop after they carried water for him for 4 years.
