LINK Gay Icon Alan Turing's Face Is Now on a New £50 Note in United Kingdom

For those who don't know Alan Turing developed the first modern computer, in order to defeat the Nazi Enigma code, which he did. It allowed the British to hold off the Germans in WWII, long enough for/until the U.S. joined the war effort. In short, WWII (most likely) would have been lost without him.

A true hero getting recognition by being on the 50 pound note. The article fails to reveal that Alan Turing took his own life after undergoing barbaric "chemical castration".

Yeah. I think his beign on thew 50 poind note is nice, but it doesn't make up for what his country did to him because he was gay.
