The Proud Boys are "funny dudes," alright. Funny hm, not haha, and in the head. The liberal tactic of combating them isn't working, however, yet liberals keep going to it. I would suggest simply not engaging them with refutations or logical argument online and, in person, returning their "jokes" with deadpan faces and silence. Pick up conversation without reference to their "humor." They will act out and go too far, as they did on Jan 6th, so that our legal system can laugh at them. This is not optimal but I think what they are looking for is any justification for getting angry. They are basically very angry people (angry about not receiving enough or proper childhood attention) so let them pout.
