Why no bio and/or photo?

Genuinely curious about this. Many people on this site have indicated that they're "open" to meeting someone, but give no indication of who they are. No profile photo and no profile or bio, so how are potentially interested people supposed to decide whether to contact them?

Fake profiles from Nigeria perhaps. Looking to scam lonely people. Or, perhaps they are very new at this new-fangled thing called The Internet. Who knows. Multitude of possible reasons.

Simple answer is that you don't contact them. Sad as it is you get nothing out of a site like this if you don't put in
