I see the conflating of compassion with religion in that article, yet another example of cognitive failure by the mentally insufficient.

They're just worried that the jig is up, they see the end is near, but not the end they keep predicting.

Those are the Jimmy Carter evangelicals. All the others, the majority, want their women and kids stupid and obedient.

Hah, interesting, you'd never would know it from all of the examples that I have seen or experienced dealing with them.
