In 2014, Hawking changed his mind and concluded that black holes cannot exist after all.

The MIT study “offers evidence, based on gravitational waves, to show that the total area of a black hole’s event horizon can never decrease.”

They use one untested hypothesis as evidence for another.

Big Bang cosmology is a multi-billion dollar taxpayer-funded industry. The people it benefits financially will do everything they can to keep the industry funded.
