Her being shot did not result in open warfare, so she was an outlier and had no support from other rioters.

IMO, another two or three EARLY police shootings of NON-LEADERS by police might have stopped the riot.

Like shotguns aimed over rioters’ heads when they were still on the stairs.

It wasn't a riot it was an attempted Coup..

Not sure I'd call it awesome news, but it is good news. The police were defending members of Congress from a violent mob, frankly they showed a great deal of restraint.

I will call it awesome.
