Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.Not just a victory for activists, but for African Americans, if not all Americans, who appreciate the historical facts of the Confederate rebellion. In a just society the statue of Robert E. Lee would be replaced by a great abolitionist such as Frederick Douglass or Sojourner Truth, or civil rights figure such as Rosa Parks or Martin Luther King, Jr!
