It’s iffy.
Isaacson said Godel decided in 1947 to become a US citizen but doesn’t say when he studied the Constitution or found the flaw.
When did the two-term-limit talk get serious? With FDR’s running a 3rd time in 1940, or later? When did someone introduce the bill to amend?
The Amendment was ratified in 1951.
@yvilletom so it was more or less the same time, basically...it was written Entirerly because of FDR's popularity
@AnneWimsey Do a search on “business plot fdr”. Business wanted a dictator then and wants one now.
