I’m thinking about writing some music for the Christian market. There’s no law that says an atheist can’t write Christian music, right? My first offering would be a ballad something along the following lines:

Oh Lord, I’m perplexed and confused
My lover jus’ don’t believe in You.
I love him so much, but I’m so scared
He’ll be goin’ to Hell, not to Heaven with me.

You came to me in a dream last night
And you spoke from your heavenly throne.
So I know it was you, God
And I promised you I will obey.

My Lord, I heard your commandment so clear
You told me that Love is the pathway
That I can bring him to heaven with me
By giving him all of my love
And not holding back.

You said only in the heights of Love,
When he and I are joined at the soul,
Can I show him the Light and the Path.

In obedience to you, just an hour ago,
I gave up my virginity, my Lord just for you.
And as you said, he saw the Light.
For in the heights of passion, he cried out,
“Oh God, I’m coming.”

I think your gift is for writing memes for atheists, I would stick to that.

No chance of it hitting the Top Ten, huh?

@mischl Only in very strange Christian circles. LOL

@Fernapple BUT...this song has a hint of "Paradise by the Dashboard Lights." You never know...

Don’t quit your day job.

Thanks, Ms. K. Don't worry. My day job is Pool Boy, and I've got a helluva deal. Not about to quit.
