I read with interest and admiration the letter Laura Sagan's letter about the life she shared with her late husband, famed astronomer Carl Sagan.
It got me, for some reason, thinking of the death in 1963 of another man, Aldous Huxley, who wrote Brave New World, The Doors of Perception, and other amazing books.
I'd heard a long time ago that Huxley took LSD on his deathbed, so I looked it up.
Sure enough, HIS wife, and his son, wrote about her husband passing, describing how she administered the 'medicine' to him, at his request.
In the unlikely event any of you are with me when my time comes, please, if at all possible, make sure you're in possession of a few hits, and we'll see me out in glorious style!
To meet my fate on a monster acid trip would be perfection itself.
