There's been a lot of publicity on this massive project. I recently posted some videos of this telescope. Information of such projects fascinate me immensely.

i hear there's a restaurant there.

It's first picture has already been taken ...

@hankster L2 is practically a satellite parking lot, half a dozen probes there already and more on the way.

@Druvius hopefully finding a vacant spot won't be a problem.

@hankster The restaurant is great, they have all the good dishes from throughout the Solar System. Venusian pizza, Mars meatballs, and gas from Jupiter. The shakes from Earth are great, as are the mountains of ice cream.
