LINK The Trial of Thomas Jefferson: U.S. Supreme Court Chief Justice (1994) - YouTube

No, Rehnquist hasn't returned. The year is 1994 but we're still debating the old man. Thomas Jefferson, not Rehnquist. Reminded me a bit of Gore Vidal's book, Burr (which I thoroughly enjoyed). For my own money, Jeff (he let me call him that) most displayed what seems to be the American spirit. Jeff was brilliant, brash, and arrogant but in a nice way. With the best of intention but privilege of pedigree. Being first to display such a thing, on such a grand stage and time, stamped him into our heritage as few do. JFK somewhat achieved it🗽👩⚖️
