@snytiger6 Since you gave a thumbs up to @toonman's 1/28 reply to me I wonder how you would answer my 1/29 reply to him. One wonders what you find acceptable about Kamala.

She's intelligent, intellectually curious, and seems committed to doing the most possible good for people who aren't billionaires, white, men or straight. Unlike the last VP, she's competent, better educated, and less prone to religious dipshittery.

Most of what you think you know about her is lacking a credible source. The rest is simply shit you made up or got from some other fuckhead who made shit up.

Most of what you post or comment on this platform is either not supported by evidence, contradicted by evidence, or shows an utter lack of understanding of how anything works. Your stupid rant about voter suppression was a stunning example of Dunning-Kruger in action. It was nice to see intelligent, informed people hand you your ass.

Your problem with Kamala Harris has nothing to do with her qualifications or her job performance. It has to do with your lack of understanding of the differences between Democrats, Socialists, Communists, and the "far left". It has to do with her being a woman and being a woman of color.

Everybody reading your uninformed, stupid commentary elsewhere on this platform knows it. I haven't seen a single instance of this where you come away looking intelligent and well-informed. Nor has anybody else.

@Toonman NO "everybody" reading my posts does not know what you rant about. Actually you are doing nothing except projecting your own faults. Additionally even if I was wrong, it would be that I expressed an improper opinion, not a lie. You really are a nut case.

@Alienbeing

They do. Your commentary on voter suppression resulted in one of the most thorough gang-fucks I've ever seen online.

@Toonman Disagreements by leftists are usually attempted "gangfucks" You really life the F word don't you?

@Toonman I am in agreement with what you said above.

@alienbeing I comment a great deal to posts, and don't know which posts you are referring to in your question. I do agree with Toonman about Kamala Harris in what he said above though. I don't usually get into long online debates. As they don't tend to change a person's mind when they are dug in to their political position. Mostly because people on the far right just don't/won't listen and have no desire to honestly consider a different point of view.

@snytiger6

And on top of it, they know shit about dick.

@Alienbeing

You wouldn't know a leftist if you gave one a toothy, awkward blow job. Most of the people you mistake for leftists are centrists. Nobody in America cares about the left. Democrats aren't leftists. They're centrists.

The only reason you see centrists as the left is that you're so far to the right you think anything to the left of you is a communist.

This is Trump territory.

I use "fuck" a lot.

Let's look at context. You're a stupid fuck. You're a semiliterate fuck. You're a lying fuck. You're an intellectually dishonest fuck. You don't give a fuck about facts.

You don't understand fuck about anything.

This makes you fucking useless.

@snytiger6 Toonman has chosen to disappear (probably blocked in frustration) because he can't argue his point. My point to you is can you illustrate one accomplishment Kamala has had.

Toonman could not

@Alienbeing From what I've read, Kamala Harris was a great Attorney General in California.

I don't think people block you out of any kind of frustration over your arguments, but rather over having to read a long list of (baseless) insults that you throw at them, without having considered any points they made themselves. (see your reposes to me above)

As of yet, I have not blocked anybody on this site. However there are a few to whom I just stop responding to because I see no point when they don't ever listen to or consider what I say.

No, this isn't Trump country. Trump is a fading popular fad. Trump will be listed next to Senator McCarthy as a dangerous populist when they historians write about him after 20 years.

@snytiger6 You have given me several thumbs up on prior posts.

Kamala had a decent tenure as Attny General, nothing special. That in no way qualifies her for her present office.

As respects @toonman, please note I only responded with insults after he started along that road. However, I really don't care who blocks me, I have opinions based on fact. If peole can't acccept reality, that is their problem, not mine.

Last, Trump stinks and wish he would disappear.

The only place Kamala should go is home.

The only place you should go is fuck yourself.

@Toonman Back to you oh shallow one.

Name ONE thing Kamala has accomplished either as Senator or V.P. Since she introduced NO Bills as Senator and thus far has NO success as a V.P. it will be interesting to see you squirm.

@Alienbeing

Source please. You've been wrong about or have lied about everything you've posted elsewhere so far.

Senators don't just introduce legislation. They also vote on it and work it in committe. These two things are way more important.

As for the second charge, the Vice President's work is much less visible than that of the President. And I seriously doubt you have the first idea of what a Vice President's function is or what the duties of the office actually are.

While you think it will be interesting to watch me squirm, I think it will be more interesting to see what happens after you take Trump's cock out of your mouth and wipe his man-goop off your chin.

Or simply learn something about, well, anything.

Seriously, go fuck yourself.

@Toonman Name ONE, just ONE lie. You won't be able to.

Second, Senators DO introduce legislation. What Civics course did you miss? I hate trump, but your atitude is even worse.

Seriously go fucik your ignorant self.

Now Squirm.

@Alienbeing Your stupid rant about voter suppression contained nothing resembling a fact. It was a pleasure to watch intelligent, well-informed people run a train on you.

@Alienbeing

Never mind civics, what READING course did YOU miss?

I didn't say Senators don't introduce legislation. Everybody knows they do.
I said they don't JUST introduce legislation.

I said it's not the most important thing they do, and that shaping legislation in committee and voting on it is more important. My point is that introducing legislation isn't the only means by which a congressperson can be an effective legislator. Many Senators don't introduce legislation, but are still effective legislators by virtue of their vote and their work on various committees.

I'd try to explain this another way more in line with your intellect, but lack play-doh and hand puppets.

You still haven't provided me with any reliable source that seems to support your claims.

And nothing you've posted anywhere on this platform seems to indicate a hatred for Trump. Quite the contrary, it all reads like the MAGA playbook.

I'd tell you to go fuck yourself, but I realized you do every time you post a comment.

Still waiting to squirm, you credulous, ignorant dunce.

@Alienbeing

By golly, you're right! Kamala Harris didn't introduce one bill during her time as a senator.

According to the Library of Congress she introduced and/or sponsored 132 bills during the 116th Congress.

[congress.gov]

It took me about 10 seconds to Google this. If you're going to lie, try asserting something not so easily discredited.

Either you knew your assertion was wrong, which would make you a lying glass of poop juice.

OR--

You liked the sound of the assertion and didn't bother to check if it was true, figuring nobody else would, either. This would make you a stupid glass of poop juice.

Since you don't appear to know what a Vice President does, I've included an article from Microsoft News about some of the things she's accomplished during her first year in the office:

[msn.com]

I think even if you don't approve of what she's doing, she's mos def doing something.

And an article about what the general duties of the veep are:

[share.america.gov]

Wondering when I'll start squirming. Am I squirming yet...?

I find it interesting that somebody with such a large cranium would have such a tiny brain.

@Alienbeing

Calls me ignorant, yet can't spell "fuck".

@Alienbeing

OH!

And here's a little number about how bills are introduced.

[congress.gov]

Happy reading.

Still wondering when the squirming will happen.

@Toonman Where did this happen? The only thing you seem good at is continuously using the word "fuck"

@Toonman When you can't recognize an obvious typo and instead call it misspelling, it is easy to see you have nothing. Did you really think I (or anyone) thought "fucik" was the proper spelling? Note the "u" and the "I" are next to each other. Think two keys might have been it at the same time? Get a life.

@Toonman Here is an excellent source: Google "what legislation did Hillary Clinton introduce while she was Senator" You will get a list. You should also note it is a rather hollow list, similar to your statements.

More to the point you have corrected YOURSELF! YOU typed:

"By golly, you're right! Kamala Harris didn't introduce one bill during her time as a senator.

According to the Library of Congress she introduced and/or sponsored 132 bills during the 116th Congress.

[congress.gov]

It took me about 10 seconds to Google this. If you're going to lie, try asserting something not so easily discredited."

That make you a certified liar because YOU just proved YOU lied. I have not yet checked your source, I will later today, and we'll see what additional b.s. you spewed.

Last, save the self flattery. I know what a V.P. does. I doubt you could teach me anything. Your ego creates problems for you. Check it.

Squirm on.

@Alienbeing

You didn't provide a reliable source to your assertion. I went directly to the Congressional Record. Go ahead and click the link.

@Toonman You asked for a source before correcting yourself, however here is the source anyway.

"A bill can be introduced in either chamber of Congress by a senator or representative who sponsors it. Once a bill is introduced, it is assigned to a committee whose members will research, discuss, and make changes to the bill. The bill is then put before that chamber to be voted on.Sep 28, 2021

How Laws Are Made and How to Research Them - USA.gov[usa.gov] › ... › Federal Laws and Regulations"

So far you've corrected yourself, incorrectly assumed I had anything to do with Trump, and not show anyplace where ai lied.

Your record is perfect! Perfectly stupid.

Please rant on, this is amusing.

@Alienbeing

Good. You read the last link. Now read the first one.

I never said Senators don't introduce bills. Again, everybody knows they do.

If you'll reread my earlier comment, you see I said that Senators don't JUST introduce bills, but also work them in committee and vote on them. I feel these other two are more important. Introducing legislation isn't the only mark of an effective legislator, and many congresspeople don't introduce legislation. Many merely co-sponsor, work in committee, and vote on them.

If you click on my first link it will lead you to the Library of Congress Kamala Harris page, where it will show all of the bills she's sponsored (introduced), where they are in the legislative process, and how many have been signed into law.

You said she introduced NO bills during her time in the Senate. The Congressional Record shows this to be demonstrably false.

That you made your assertion as if it were self-evident means either you knew it was false but said it anyway, or that you liked the way it sounded and repeated it without checking to see if it was true, hoping nobody else would check either.

You either lied or were misled.

Still not squirming.

@Alienbeing

While I have edited my comments for the sake of clarity, I have not changed my sentence regarding Senators and the introduction of bills.

You simply failed to read my comment correctly.

@Alienbeing

"Get a life?"

Learn to type. Or at least check your work.

@Toonman "Get a life" is a frequetly used expression. Do you live in a cave? My typing was fine.

@Toonman Let’s examine your ignorant statement regarding who may or may not propose Bill in the U.S. Congress.

The best place to obtain fact is to refer to the U.S. Constitute itself. For your edification I have copied and pasted Article I Section of our Constitution. The first sentence CLEARLY shows that while Bills for Raising Revenue must originate in the House, the Senate can propose (which is the same as originate) or concur with other Amendments of Bills.

Article I Section 7 United States Constitution

Section 7

All Bills for raising Revenue shall originate in the House of Representatives; but the Senate may propose or concur with Amendments as on other Bills.

Every Bill which shall have passed the House of Representatives and the Senate, shall, before it become a Law, be presented to the President of the United States: If he approve he shall sign it, but if not he shall return it, with his Objections to that House in which it shall have originated, who shall enter the Objections at large on their Journal, and proceed to reconsider it. If after such Reconsideration two thirds of that House shall agree to pass the Bill, it shall be sent, together with the Objections, to the other House, by which it shall likewise be reconsidered, and if approved by two thirds of that House, it shall become a Law. But in all such Cases the Votes of both Houses shall be determined by Yeas and Nays, and the Names of the Persons voting for and against the Bill shall be entered on the Journal of each House respectively. If any Bill shall not be returned by the President within ten Days (Sundays excepted) after it shall have been presented to him, the Same shall be a Law, in like Manner as if he had signed it, unless the Congress by their Adjournment prevent its Return, in which Case it shall not be a Law.
Every Order, Resolution, or Vote to which the Concurrence of the Senate and House of Representatives may be necessary (except on a question of Adjournment) shall be presented to the President of the United States; and before the Same shall take Effect, shall be approved by him, or being disapproved by him, shall be repassed by two thirds of the Senate and House of Representatives, according to the Rules and Limitations prescribed in the Case of a Bill.

The above proves you were wrong. You would say you lied, I am content to say you were wrong because, unlike you, I don’t rant.

Additionally, you should know that a “work-around” is frequently used on all Bills when a Senator teams with a House member to cosponsor a Bill.

Now let’s go to posts I have wherein I asserted there is no voter suppression. You said I lied, but never cited a lie. I assume you mean you don’t agree. I know you can’t cite a lie.

Now let’s examine Kamala. I agree she is smart. I don’t agree with any of the other assertions you made, which are only your opinion. One need only to look at her failure regarding the Southern border. Anyone with half a brain would have known what the problems were and are in Central America. No economy, high degrees on corruption, and no chance for advancement were and remain the problem. While each of these is a reason to leave the countries in question, none of them are reasons to attempt illegal immigration. Kamala simply indulged in obfuscation, and to this day has done nothing.

Now squirm some more.

@Toonman Nice obfuscation, but not worthy of comment.

@Alienbeing

All of this is generally useful, but none of it has to do with you declaring Harris did nothing during her time in the Senate.

She sponsored, meaning introduced, 132 bills. You said, matter of factly, that she didn't introduce any.

What you said is demonstrably false.

That is what we're talking about here. Not Congressional procedure. Nice cut/paste, by the way.

Given the content is irrelevant to the discussion here, I'm going to assume you read none of what you posted.

@Alienbeing

I know that "get a life" is a commonly used expression. Everybody knows this. Even people who live in caves. Not the point.

The point is you made a false statement either knowing it was false, or didn't bother to check its veracity.

When it was pointed out to you that you were either lying or misled, you started flooding this thread with Constitutional procedure irrelevant to the aforementioned point, I guess either because you were looking for a rebuttal and didn't read what you were posting or didn't understand it.

All that happened was that you said Harris didn't do anything during her time in the Senate, specifically introduce any new bills.

The link to the Library of Congress Harris page shows she did.

Nothing else matters.

I see that @toonman having been proven to be a liar and having no sustainable argument has disappeared. That probably means he blocekd me, but he only did so after being proven to be a liar and realizing he had no argument.

1

Stephen Colbert is HILARIOUS.

3

A person cannot be part of two different branches of government at the same time.

Don't you ever get the feeling large numbers of Americans spent 9th grade civics class eating glue?

She could become a Supreme Court Justice if she stepped down as VP right before she was sworn in. But yeah, she can't be both at the same time.

Technically that's not true. The separation of powers prevents members of congress from also holding positions in the Judicial or Executive Branches,
but nothing prevents someone from holding concurrent positions in those two branches. Also, though it says this is technically barred, the President of the Senate is also part of the Executive Branch. Yes they can't address congress or vote on anything unless there's a tie, but that still seems like an important role and "being a part of" to me, but I guess they don't count that.
