One year ago today, I wrote this poem about Rush Limbaugh's death. Ha ha!

Ding dong, Limbaugh is dead!
The homophobe, misogynist.
Ding dong, the bigot ass is dead!

Ding dong, go roast in hell!
The racist liar.
The loudmouth crank.
Ding dong, wicked Rush is dead!

Limbaugh saturated America’s airwaves with cruelty and conspiracies, amassing millions of listeners and transforming the Republican Party.

I don't believe in heaven or hell. A gal can dream.

Would that all his followers could follow him down.

He was a lot like cancer, he's gone and I'm glad.

He's in a pine box and out of our hair. Great poem.

@freedom41

Thank you. I gleefully wrote it.

A boy can dream too;

Limbaugh felt comfortable in the hell he made, and those who joined him felt comfortable there. I hope they are a small minority of those who vote in future elections.

Being on the other side of the pond I know nothing about Rush Limbaugh, however, I like your poem. A girl can dream and as Shakespeare said: "we are such stuff as dreams are made on."
