Pro-choice advocates are always fighting for better access to age-appropriate, comprehensive sex education rather than abstinence-only propaganda in part because they claim it reduces unwanted pregnancies. A new study says they’re right.
The latest issue of the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (PNAS) includes an article documenting the relationship between comprehensive sex education and teen birth rates, and the results, while predictable, show just how important sex ed can be.
If Christians would stay out it for all these years, we might less of a planet over population problem.
Agree. They will quote Genesis where god commanded Adam and Eve to replenish the earth. Ignoring that according to the bible god later drowned nearly everybody with a flood.
I think a good counter argument is that perhaps, if god existed, he allowed for the development of birth control and safe abortions, because the earth has been replenished enough and to the point to where now the current population levels are destroying the planet.
