She has dementia which is what makes it sort of sad.
@Beowulfsfriend When my grandmother had dementia, she was combative and very unfriendly, so I guess in comparison, this is preferable.
My wife and I operate a residential care facility for the elderly, and have definitely seen similar behavior from some of our residents!
