Some years back my now ex wife used to leave the burners on while using our electric stove. This was all an accident and she was trying, but it bothered me a lot. OMG! This woman is going to burn the house down! I fixed it all by painting a neat little red spot at the top of our all black burner knobs. This really works. We have been divorced for years and I do not burn the house down. I think I needed this.
