Ha, ha. You never can be too careful.
When i was visiting my Park Service aunt and uncle in the Everglades before they were married, she told me a story of a lady eating lunch who heard a rustling under the picnic table. The lady looked down and saw a 6ft alligator.
The lady shrieked and ran -- and scared the gator badly -- it ran as fast as it could in the opposite direction. Ha, ha.
I guess they both ended up with stories -- the lady and the animal.

I doubt large reptiles(even rhyming ones) spend much time studying Constitutional law.
