LINK For Tens of Millions of Americans, the Good Times Are Right Now

Trajan61 said to me that these are already "bad times" because fuel prices are affecting his bottom line. 3.6 % Euro American unemployment rate. 5.6% African American unemployment rate. This means that the ones remaining sans job are the mostly unemployable. Prison record. Mental challenges. Or too many piercings in the nose. Personally altho I still am in isolation & need more dogs, I am in a stable place. How about you?

Barney2years is reflective of my situation save for the hours spent on line. But then I don't watch much porn. LOL.

Ambivalent is preferable to decrepit.

I suppose it is better to be the "shitty" than the "shit uponed"".

Yes. Gratitude for many freedoms our government provides/permits us. Remember that diet has a direct correlation to one's health. Diabetes2 is 99% self induced. The other 1% is from damage to the pancreas via other sources.

Usually when times aren't shitty is about the time when it goes back to being shitty. I'm OK for right now except for my health, but that's what matters.

I’m retired and financially better off than I have been my entire life. Living alone has contributed to that. My dog, and often his mom, keep me company and ask for little but love. I have an active online social life, spending eight to nine hours on average online, none of it is monetized. Life is not great, but it is quite good.

I'm pretty vocal about how I am so will leave it at that. Ambivalent is the word I'd use.
