I think this is a fantastic idea, and could bring much needed revenue to the participating tribes.
Definitely more of a public service than a fucking casino, that's for sure.

Yeah the KKK would love that, a chance and an excuse to reinstate the Indian wars and the concomitant massacres.

Indians against the KKK, all my money is on the Indians. There is a lot to settle for, and I would be there on their side.

@dalefvictor Brilliant 🙂

@LenHazell53 I have lived on Indian Reservations and on many there are places for airports and/or landing fields. Also, the Indians know the land and so people out of their favor might just disappear. I was told not to go into regions of the reservations, I did not ask why I just obeyed. I felt they had their reasons and it was their land, therefore their laws. As long as the media can be kept busy doing other things anything can be done.

Now to just convince the Native Americans...

Might be easier than it may seem.
They're always looking for ways to assert their sovereignty.
Not to mention the attendant revenue streams which would spring up out of necessity.

@KKGator I am not sure about this but I believe Indian Land(although considered Sovereign) still falls under the Bureau of Land Management...the BLM. I don't know how much authority they have but you can bet your bippy there will be serious push back. I could see the States litigating the FUCK out of it. They would be HELL BENT on getting the case into the SCOTUS. I don't know what that would do other than eat time. Keep in mind what happened in SD with the Voting Restrictions. That was targeting the Indian Tribes...same thing in Arizona. States will pull every trick up their sleeve. This is going to cripple this country. Any woman who gets pregnant in College will not only probably have to drop out but they will end up crippled by the Student Loans...this is FUCKED UP.

@phoenixone1 I'm willing to explore every avenue.
I'm also willing to aid and abet anyone who needs medical care.
I HAVE to do something.
I'll go back to clinic work.
I'm not sitting on the sidelines with this.
I'm going to war.

I don't need anyone trying to calm me down, try to make me see "reason", or attempt to explain why any of my ideas might not work.

This is bullshit, and I'm not fucking taking it.

Show them the money.

What a marvelous idea! While WA State is still a haven for women Idaho is so racism and backwards the east part of the state is swamped with people from Idaho seeking medical attention during COVID and with little time to recover now abortions and womens health care. Yes, WA State resident are NOT pleased with the long waits for service.

While I do understand not liking to be kept waiting for much of anything, I think we all need to develop a little more patience with one another.

The clinics in states where abortion will remain legal are already dealing with a very heavy influx of out-of-state appointments.
If I lived near one, I would be applying for a job, or volunteering to do picket-duty.
These remaining clinics are going to need all the help they can get.
For a LONG time to come.
This issue will not be rectified quickly.

@KKGator Please help get the word out about the site WeTestify, they have some really useful info on there-

@KKGator The pandemic and now this ban has exacerbated a situation that goes way back. It high lights the need for congress to codify many basic rights that the SC trough over reach has removed.
It is frustrating and comes at a time when many health care professionals are retiring or moving into other areas of employment.

That's thinking outside the box. I like it.

Thanks.
I live outside the box.
