LINK Marjorie Taylor Greene Says Children 'Should Be Trained With Firearms'

(The problem being that in order to have any effect it would mean arming children.)

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene said she believes children should learn how to use firearms to protect themselves in the event of a school shooting.

Speaking at a House Rules Committee meeting about the Second Amendment, Greene on Friday suggested the firearm training would help ward off potential danger.

"If my children are in school and a mad man with a gun comes to a school to kill people, unfortunately a psychologist is not going to be able to just talk him out of it," she said in a conversation with Rep. Jamie Raskin of Maryland. "That is not a good way to protect kids."

Asked by Raskin whether she thinks the students should be armed, Greene said, "I think children should be trained with firearms."

There you go, next move for the SCUMTUS. Eliminate age laws for legal carry. After all, the Constitution does say there should be a minimum age for the right to bare arms, and back in the 1700’s kids were pretty much hunting and shooting at young ages. If the Court wants to backpedal through 250 years of precedent, why not follow the Constitution word by word. If it is not specifically forbidden, it should be allowed. Or not specifically allowed, forbidden.

Her Con Party makes it necessary but, because of their unrelenting demands for guns, it is necessary. Kids also have a Right to life and to have a chance at preserving theirs. We should rejoice over those lives who no longer have to go through this daily insanity, however.
