Cheney is correct. The sooner we get Trump and company in prison the better we will be.

Those kind of decisions always have later consequences, such as Nixon being pardoned after Watergate, Reagan not being impeached over Iran-Contra, and finally Bush and Cheney not being prosecuted as war criminals for Iraq. Each time this happens, it lowers the bar on what is acceptable conduct and policy for an administration and the later ones feel even more emboldened and immune from consequences for their actions. It's got to the point where the only thing they have to fear for misconduct is not being re-elected, if even that. And in Trump's case, he almost got elected again..

What did he do that was illegal?

You seem to be suffering from willful ignorance. Are you sure you aren't religious? You ignore obvious facts just like a religious person does.

Trump tried to overturn a legitimate election which was/is basically trying to bring an end democracy in the U.S. Every person who asked Trump for a pardon, because they knew they were breaking laws should be removed from office.

@snytiger6
If that were true they would have at least pressed charges, but they haven’t become they have no real case against him.

Our democracy depends on it, no matter how Fox tries to spin it.
