I like the writer's thinking, but I rather feel that we are actually living through the collapse of an age that broadly began with The Enlightenment.
With so much reptilian brain thinking that now predominates in the world, it is hard to feel optimistic about Enlightenment 2.0 any time soon.
So called followers of the neologism, Collapsology -- the idea that the world systems have to collapse before a new and better age can rise -- might think an E 2.0 could result, but I rather suspect such a total collapse would be the end, and I myself hope I'm no longer around when it does.
Not sure what I think about Humancentrism. I get the idea, but we don't need a new artificial sense of self-importance in the Cosmos.
