LINK Slavery on the ballot for voters in 5 US states this November. Should involuntary servitude still be legal?

Bet Alabama, Louisiana and Tennessee will keep the language allowing forced labor, and Vermont and Oregon will not.

I don't expect changes in the Southern states. When California had this on the ballot, many leaders were against it as it would have meant paying prisoners minimum wage. California would be in worse shape from fires if not for the amount of prisoners they use to fight the flames (both manpower and costs).
