Netherland (no, not Neverland) As the Dutch write "Nederland" (De Nederlanden [The Netherlands] is so old fashioned that they haven't used it anymore for the last 200 years), so why not Netherland, without the "s". The time that the country had some form form of federal organization, the reason why they called it "the Netherlands" at that time, is almost vanished from the general national memory.
