Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.Many species would no longer exist without zoos and various rescue groups. Can't save them all, but a lot of people out there are trying to save as many as possible. And reintroduce some back to their natural habitat. The zoos help pay for much of that.

Like so many species, humans are taking more to extinction. Stories like this are so good to know, that there are real people really working to prevent that. The whole zoo/prison argument is also valid, but what would happen without zoos?
