Why would autism make a difference in how a person believes or not?

Just wondering what being on the autism spectrum has to do with believing in things? They are Humans, they have a right to believe in whatever they believe.
I would love a little more explanation or detail of why autism makes a difference in this.
Admittedly, I'm not completely versed in autism, I know the basics I guess you'd say.

Best then to respond "Doesn't matter" to the poll question.
